Terms of Service for Beyond Borders

These Terms & Conditions of service (“Terms”) govern all hourly and packaged consulting services (“Services”) provided by Beyond Borders, a consultancy division of Life’s Abri’s LLC. By engaging our Services, you (“Client”) agree to the following terms:
1. Service Descriptions
1.1 Hourly Consulting – $250/hour
Hourly consulting services are billed in 60-minute increments and include verbal guidance, research, and written summaries or recommendations as needed. Time is rounded up to the nearest quarter-hour (15-minutes).
1.2 Comprehensive Consulting Package – $5,000/person (unless written otherwise)
This package includes:
A tailored relocation plan or global mobility strategy for one individual
A maximum of 20 hours of consultation over a 6-month period from the start date
Weekly or regularly scheduled video/phone check-ins
Customized resource recommendations and planning support
Additional hours are billed at 20% off of the standard hourly consulting rate.
2. Scheduling & Responsiveness
Clients must schedule consulting calls in advance via our online booking system or by direct email.
Calls are subject to availability and may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice. We aim to send over your tailored deliverable within 30 days of receiving all necessary information from you.
Urgent assistance outside of normal business hours may incur additional fees and is not guaranteed.
3. Email Communication
Email correspondence is intended for logistical coordination, clarifications, and brief follow-ups on services already rendered.
In-depth questions, strategic guidance, extended advisory conversations, or requests requiring significant research or analysis will be considered billable time and deducted from your hourly package or invoiced accordingly at our hourly rate, where applicable.
Clients enrolled in hourly or flat-rate packages may receive reasonable email support as part of their plan. However, we reserve the right to limit or delay responses to high-frequency, excessive, or out-of-scope communications and may require a formal consultation to address more complex matters.
We aim to respond to all emails within 2 business days.
4. Payment Terms
Payment for hourly services is due in full at the time of booking.
The $5,000 package, and any other bespoke packages where applicable, must be paid in full prior to beginning services unless a custom payment plan is agreed upon in writing.
All payments are non-refundable once services have commenced.
5. Client Responsibilities
The Client is responsible for providing accurate, timely information.
Beyond Borders cannot be held liable for relocation or immigration decisions made based on incomplete or incorrect information provided by the Client.
Clients must act on recommendations in a timely manner. We are not responsible for missed deadlines, expiring documents, or time-sensitive issues not promptly addressed.
6. Limitations of Service
Beyond Borders is not a law firm and does not provide legal immigration services or representation.
We do not prepare, book, or submit anything on behalf of the client; we act in the role of consultant. Furthermore, we do not guarantee visa approval, residency acceptance, or any third-party outcomes.
All recommendations are based on best practices, industry knowledge, and available information at the time of consultation.
7. Refund Policy
Payments for hourly services and consulting packages are non-refundable once work has commenced. We are committed to delivering quality support and will offer reasonable accommodations for rescheduling or follow-up, but unused time does not carry over indefinitely. Packages must be used within 6 months of purchase unless otherwise arranged.
8. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged in full.
Package clients who miss two scheduled sessions without notice may forfeit the ability to reschedule those hours.
9. Confidentiality
All personal data and sensitive information shared during the course of services will be treated as confidential and will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law or explicitly authorized by the Client.
10. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service at our sole discretion, especially in cases of abuse, harassment, chargeback fraud, failure to pay, or behavior that violates our Code of Conduct or Terms of Use.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate services at any time. No refunds will be issued for unused hours within the package if services are terminated by the Client. Refunds for unused time may be considered at the sole discretion of Beyond Borders if services are terminated by us.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
